The green home furnishing industry is a traditional advantageous industry in Wuji County and one of the 107 key industrial clusters supported by Hebei Province. It comprises nearly 1,000 manufacturing and supporting enterprises, employs more than 80,000 people, and produces 20 million sets of wooden doors and supporting products annually, with an annual output value of 8 billion yuan. The products cover eight major series—solid wood doors, paint-free doors, steel-wood doors, eco-doors, painted doors, bamboo-wood doors, fire-resistant doors, and whole-house custom solutions—offering over 100 patterns and more than 1,000 varieties, accounting for over 60% of the market share north of the Yellow River.

In 2008, it was named the “Wood Industry Base of Hebei Province” by the Hebei Provincial Department of Science and Technology;In 2010, it was designated as the “Shijiazhuang City Characteristic Township Industry Cluster Area” by the Shijiazhuang Municipal Government;In 2019, it was selected as a “Characteristic Industrial Cluster of Hebei Province.”

To expand and optimize the green home furnishing industry and leverage the advantages of the cluster, the county party committee and government have resolved to “replace the old with the new” through a strategic transformation. Focusing on the framework of “industry chain-cluster collaboration + industrial digital brain + physical factories,” and utilizing digital, intelligent, and green technologies, they aim to integrate traditional industries with advanced technologies while revitalizing underutilized land resources, thereby creating a modern intelligent manufacturing base.

The project covers a planned area of 1,600 mu (approximately 106.7 hectares) with a total investment of 5 billion yuan. It includes:Guozhuang Town area: 400 mu (approximately 26.7 hectares);Lichengdao Town area: 1,200 mu (approximately 80 hectares).The base is planned to feature three major manufacturing zones—door panel and furniture manufacturing, upholstered furniture manufacturing, and custom furniture manufacturing—alongside eight major centers: shared material preparation, shared prototyping, shared spraying, warehousing and logistics, industrial dispatching, e-commerce, innovative design, and quality inspection.

The first phase, with an investment of 500 million yuan, covers 164 mu (approximately 10.9 hectares) and primarily focuses on:Standardized production workshops;Three major centers—industrial dispatching, innovative design, and quality inspection;A comprehensive exhibition hall.This phase is designed to provide high-quality, all-encompassing services for enterprises within the park.

The project aims to establish the most creative green home furnishing industry base and the most influential creative R&D hub for green home furnishing in North China. By leveraging digital and intelligent technologies, it seeks to promote industrial upgrading and achieve intensive, green, and high-end development.

Through shared manufacturing models (such as shared material preparation, shared prototyping, and shared spraying) and centralized service platforms for dispatching, quality inspection, warehousing, and logistics, the project helps enterprises reduce production costs, improve efficiency, and standardize product quality. It also provides supporting services such as innovative design and e-commerce to help enterprises achieve high-quality development.
